Dumpling Manifesto

It's so nice to know that there are like-minded people out there, even if I would never go as far as pick a fight with the chef in a restaurant... not that they wouldn't deserve it, mind you.

Stay tuned from tales from the road - we're off with the night train to Xi'An tomorrow! Let's hope the dumpling there are indeed as good as advertised :)

We had our farewell dinner in a... hold your breath... German restaurant!


Because Xu Feng is going to Germany soon (and hopefully landing a PhD position there), so we thought it would be fun to "teach" him about German food. It was indeed very entertaining, but the food wasn't worth mentioning (good beer, though). Xu Feng likes the Bratwurst, so he should survive his Germany trip just fine :)

And I have to say, it's completely impossible to pack for 2 months in 3 different climate zones! What do I do?!
